Hello!
I am travelling at the moment and a few days ago I added music from another traveller on my Sansa. Since then, my music from the Internal memory doesn't appear, only the external card. When I connect it to a computer, it says the total size is 15.1 Go and 3.68 for the external card, but I can't see the music on either. It says 0 files. What can I do to see and listen to the music again? /////////////// Ok after testing a bit, I realized that the music I added lately was in MSC mode. Everything on that mode I can find on my internal memory. Unfortunately, that's like 500 mo. The rest of the music seems to be on the other mode (auto detect?) and everything is invisible. Do you have any idea what is going on and what i should do? Format is not an option for now because I won't be going home in over a year. Thank you! That is how MTP and MSC modes are now days. You can not see MSC mode stuff in MTP mode. Same with MTP mode things will not be seen in MSC mode.

Actually, it seems to be the other way around. The music on autodetect mode i can find, but not the one on MSC. By that i mean I really DON'T have access to the music anymore. Neither can I add anything because the disk is full, yet unreachable.
What to do? |

If it’s not backed up, have you tried changing to the mode where you seek the tunes, disconnect player and allow a db rebuild, shut down and re-connect to pc to see if you can save some of them. Once done follow paragraph 1.
