I was all ready to buy a Fuze when I found out that there are only two fixed volume settings...
Why in the world would they do that? What if normal is too low and high is to high? Then what? I can't believe that very few people have complained about this. Why is this MP3 so popular? Just because it's "stylish" and "cool" people overlook a serious deficiency? Do all (current) Sansa models lack a volume control? Well back to comparison shopping... |

Uhh, you can adjust the volume to anything you want. Where are you getting your info!?

OK, I dug a little further. Apparently it has two settings, but the volume can be adjusted from the base settings by rotating the round dial.
Serves me right for skimming... Thanks, BC |

Yep. The "Normal" and "High" settings are just for limiting the maximum volume.
