My spinn broke a couple of days ago, and it's going away to be fixed/replaced as it's still under warranty.
Is there any other way I can music off the player onto my computer in case they remove it or replace my spinn altogether? I can't do it the usual way because the touchscreen/buttons don't work. I really do not want to lose my extensively edited music library with complete ID3 tags and album art. If anyone could help it would be awesome. Perhaps a sort of USB connected file hoover? =] |

Just what is wrong with the player, contact details, proof and date of original purchase (if you have bought your spinn second hand, the warranty seems to be void). I think that's all I sent. You have to send it back with all the original stuff aswell, accessories, manual etc.

okay it might sounds foolish as i dont own a spinn
but have ever tried to connect it to your computer with a usb cable? cuz you said buttons, screen dont work but that doesnt mean the rest wont work |

Haha, nah you've got to connect it with the USB cable, and then start the transfer using the touchscreen

You can also connect the USB then press down the SPINN control, maybe that'll work?

Nah, none of the buttons did anything. It doesn't matter now anyways. My brand new, shiny spinn is waiting for me to pick up at the post office =] Having to re-sort all the music isn't such a problem, cause the old one had an annoying scratch on the screen anyway
