Default New refurb ZVM got stuck at "shutting down"

Just got a refurbished ZVM 30gb from Creative last week, and it's done a couple "freezes" on me, and then seems to fix itself, I guess you could say. Today when I shut it off, it just stayed in the "shutting down" mode. I let it sit for a few minutes just to see if it would shut off, and then I moved the power button to the left again, and it shut right off. Is this a characteristic of this unit or?? Should I just send it back? I have the latest firmware, for whatever it's worth. Thanks!

That's what I decided to do......it's frozen up like this 3 or 4 times in the week that I've had it. Plus, it has all these really fine scratches in the screen, like they tried to polish out other scratches with a plastic polish. I was going to let that slide, but no thanks.

Did you try to reset it? There a reset hole on the bottom. Why does everyone let the battery die??

Yep, did all the standard things you'd do in this situation.....even a clean up.

I purchased a refurb ZVM 2 yrs ago. No freezes, the only cleanups are because I deleted files off the player. Looked brand new when I got it & still works perfectly. So they can do better.
