oops but yeah I think it does have some serious bugs such as you can't play music very well without it freezing. So right now unless you are helping develop rockbox for the fuze it isn't very useful.

Works fine for me. I only encountered one problem where it rebooted after playing an MP3 and then I couldn't get it to play an MP3 again until I turned it off and on again.

I can confirm that Rockboy works on my version of Rockbox (not mine, but the one I use).

Not to sound like an idiot, but could someone pm me with come instructions, that are simplified for an idiot like me?

The short answer is to follow the instructions on the rockbox wiki for the sansa AMS targets (fuze, clip, etc).
The long answer is that if those don't make sense, you should probably wait until the port is a little more stable/developed before using it. The lack of MMU and installer mean that its really only suitable for developers. |

The instructions are written down, and someone in this thread even linked to it. It's quite annoying to read this question every second post.

Indeed, I have mentioned that I can send instructions upon request several times but people just seem to be blind

I think he means the instructions I pointed to on the second page.

Heres a screenshot of a wps that I made for the fuze. It's based on the zune software now playing screen. I still need to improve it alot more as it's my first customwps. I'll eventually make a whole theme based on the zune hardware ui / zune software.

Anyway, why not put all the text at the bottom and make the art larger? i find most themes have the album art way too small. |

That's really nice, I'll post my custom WPS (which is unbelievably simple) later on this week as well. I think it's a pretty nice WPS but as 99% of my songs don't have album art it doesn't really work for me

I'm pretty impressed with how far along the Fuze and Clip ports are. I've got Rockbox r20809 running on a 2GB Fuze (w/16GB sdhc card) and on a 4GB Clip. The Fuze is more stable, to be sure, or at least crashes much less frequently than the Clip does.

http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/AlbumArt As of r20837 jpeg album art is now supported! I'm running r20849 and it works perfectly. Hopefully this means we'll get embedded album art in the near future.

Compiled for the fuze, download zip below. I also attached pacbox becaue svn controls for the fuze are unplayable. Hope someone can add this minor change to svn Code:
CONFIG_KEYPAD == SANSA_FUZE_PAD #define PACMAN_UP BUTTON_RIGHT #define PACMAN_DOWN BUTTON_LEFT #define PACMAN_LEFT BUTTON_UP #define PACMAN_RIGHT BUTTON_DOWN |
