good to know that I needn"t buy screen protectors because I was planning to buy Invisible Shield for this thing (25$) - It's pretty expensive (for me) . So thanks

great vid!

not that I'm recommending it, but I would love to see some brave soul take it up a notch, the possibilities are endless (until it breaks!).

-you could try some steel wool...I have a bad feeling about that though
-you could drop stuff on it
-you could throw it at stuff/people
-you could drag it behind a car
-you could let your dog chew on it (maybe dip it in something sweet to entice him or her...that's 2 tests in one, but I doubt it can take liquids)
-etc (insert stupid idea here)

That video really opened up my eyes to how durable this little thing really is.
When he put the razor-blade on the screen i was like , then when he showed the completely unharmed screen to the camera i thought "Son-of-a....!!!!"

Its a glass composite likely containing Quartz and or other minerals. I wrote up an explanation and gave a few other players the same beating including the Zune, S9, and X-Fi.
