i just orderred a 16 gig one yesterday off play.com in the u.k for 140, thinking that the 32gig would be much more expensive and not worth the extra 50 or so it would be retailing for. today i see on play.com they will be releasing it in the u.k on the 30/07/2009 at 150 ($228 u.s)
http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...r/Product.html

i am torn weather or not to cancel my order, they are temporarilly out of stock so i could do it easily, do i wait an extra 2 months and get double the capacity for an extra 10 or can i not wait that long.....?

You should wait; it's worth it - that's cheap! I may be making another purchase come July.

yeh i think i will wait. i can do with my iriver h320 for another 2 months lol. actually, i am currently using that with my brothers old ipod. both have battery life of about 2 or 3 hours nowadays so i just use one when the other dies lol. it really is worth the wait, that cheap is very impressive.

I'd say 150 for 32GB on a P3 is pretty reasonable.. but thats just my opinion..

Damn 150 quid! That is freqin cheap. and I just bought the 16gb! Oh man. My bank account hates me, and judging me UK ebay, resale value sucks, I guess people don't know enough about these babies yet.

Still... I want one...

Oh, I don't think play ship to the US. Sorry.

The player sold here has YEPP written at the bottom. Does anybody knows what's the difference with the ones written SAMSUNG at the bottom? I saw a P3 review at cnet.com and the player there has SAMSUNG written at the bottom, not YEPP.

YEPP are sold only in Korea with a KR country code.
Samsung are sold overseas with EU or US country code for instance.
As we found the way to change the country code, the only difference is the design.
It's more beautiful when "samsung" is written I think.

From wikipedia. YEPP (Y: young; E: energetic; P: passionate; P: personal) is Samsung Electronics' digital audio player brand. Id guess its just what they have on it in korea or something.

Ah, I see. Yea, I think I would still prefer SAMSUNG over YEPP. But the 32gb sold on eBay is a YEPP I think. But I can't find 32gb anywhere else....
