I read through the second version and want to make this clear... To get 5 Menu Pages you need to use one image that is 1632x480? And also, if the edges are cut off, why is the width not less?

I've followed the instructions, but if I play the file it doesnt have any of the motion in, and obviously I cant test the buttons.
No,You can only see the background though ,no icons.
Only tested by p3 would see both.

1.Yes, its resolution is really high.
You can also put five or more small pictures together to become one.
2.The left and right edges can be used for signing your name.
The height of p3's screen is 480 so width of background will not less.

Instead of Macromedia Flash professional 8, would Flash CS4 be easy to use and follow your tutorial?

I haven't tried it.
Cs4 is different from flash8 in "Actionscript",and p3 supports flash8 better.
Few cs4 applications can't be used in p3.

Sorry for bumping this two weeks later but when I create a theme, does it matter where the words and such are located, like i switched the animation from moving from 20 to 30 on the Y axis to staying at 20. So does this matter? will it affect my p3 and if I screw up these values will it brick my p3?

I haven't tried to change the frame frequency.
It's better not change to others cause the manual said about that.
Even you changed the data won't lead to brick in my opinion.

Is there any info on controlling which icons are seen and where they are placed?

Have CS4, getting flash 8 for the better p3 support.

You can click "Review" in "library" to see the whole thing.
Clicking each icon in library to get properties on the bottom.
Including position information and other properties.

The SDK.fla file doesn't open in Macromedia Flash Pro 8.

And in Adobe CS4, I don't see any "review" in the library panel or any menu list.

I believe I found the animation to the buttons and it's action script 2.0 in Adobe CS4 Flash.

Being the SDK released from Samsung is Adobe >= CS3, wouldn't that be the progam of most support for the P3?

Yep,the official SDK can be opened by Flash CS3.
It's different from other unofficial SDKs in editing.
"kr.emodio.com"has official tutorial, and you can have a try about that.
That tutorial is different from mine.

Is there an unofficial sdk.fla file floating around for use with Flash 8?

Or is that not really important?

My tutorial supports unofficial SDKs, and they can be edited by Flash 8 or higher.
If the download link disabled,I will fix them soon.

Default Problem

I got a problem, now that I did my first UCI myself, when I load it onto my P3 I always get a static Picture who seems overlayed over the rest of the Uci.

I attached my UCI once in .fla and once in .swf so someone can test if he got the same problem?

Thanks.

Hm, doesn't seem that hard. It's been a while since I've played with flash though. I used to use Flash MX a while back and still have it sitting around here somewhere, might install it and give this a try.
