I've got an iAudio X5 60 gb model I purchased in 2007. I have the original charging cable "assembly". The unit is fully functional but has seen better days in the battery life department. I've used it lightly since I've owned it, primarily while laying on the couch when I was away from my primary system. It's never been carried as a daily portable player. Basically it's been a backup since I bought it. I would say it's in great to excellent condition. It still has the factory screen protector on it.
Anyhow, I'm trying to figure out it's value. It's the best sounding player I've ever heard and I don't really want to part with it, but I've moved on to higher-quality files (24/96, DSD, etc) so it's starting to collect dust. My question is, should I keep it as a backup-backup, maybe Rockbox it for fun? Or should I try to sell it? Is it worth it to even mess with?
