Default Alarm Clock

Does anyone know how the alarm works behind the scenes?

Does it write a file away somewhere?

Does anyone know how to access this file or find it?

Thanks

Paul

I have a question to add as well. I read that the Alarm Clock can be set to go off in increments, I want to know can I set it to go off every 15 min?
And does the P3 have to powered on completely for the alarm clock to work?

It can be set to go off at intervals of 3, 5 and 10 minutes, Mon-Fri, Mon-Sat, Sat-Sun, Once or Everyday and no, the P3 can be off and it will power up when the alarm goes off.
