Insignig pilot video resolution.

I converted michael jackson moon walker on my pilot using the Media converter 2 that came with the pilot. The problem is the video is full screen but how come it plays wide screen on my pilot? Is there a trick to this? Like can the pilot view full screen and wide screen manually? I converted a full screen "Crank" video and it came up full screen on the pilot. But this Michael Jackson video came up widescreen.. Any tips, tricks etc?
I need a little help and all answers are appreciated.

Does the original Michael Jackson video incorporate black bars above and below the main image to make it widescreen?

I downloaded the Michael Jackson video full screen.. I have no Idea why it plays widescreen on my pilot.
