hey,
i have an 8gb sansa view.when i connect it to the pc..it prompts for ""tango media digital ""driver installation...the player jusst shows a blue ring...searched a lot for a solution..does anybody know how to fix this...i tried the method given for e200 in ubuntu..was going fine till the lsusb step..couldnt go more ahead though..plz help..

You can't use e200tool on the View, since although it has a recovery mode just like the e200, it doesn't have the same CPU so when you try to upload e200 code the processor can't run it.

Same problem here, sandisk support does not exist. and the shop where i bought it, they said that only original firmware can be fixed..

you will need an older version of the firmware. Before doing it you have to let the battery run out of power.
