White screen problem.

I just received my new replacement IAudio X5V this week due to battery problems with my first one.

Well, now it seems that I am having problem with the new one.

About 50% of the time when plugging in to the computer via the USB or even with the power adapter, the screen comes up totally white.

When connected to USB, with the screen white, i can still access it via Explorer
When connected to the power adapter, I'm not sure if is charging or not.

It is not a firmware problem cuz it continues no matter if I have Rockbox, Cowon's 2.09 or 2.10 Beta 1 firmware in it.

To fix the problem, I disconnect and then reconnect the player and and then it works like it should.

Could the docking adapter be the problem?
Anyone else ever have this problem?
Is it something I should take seriously?
