Hi
Recently bought a Sony NWZ-E436F for my girlfriend and whatever I have done I can not get it to display the album art when bringing up the list of albums or when in the album and playing the tracks. I have made sure the firmware is upto date ( 1.02) and even re-installed it but this has made no difference. Can someone help? Thanks |

Try using Media Monkey or J.River Media Jukebox for managing the music library, and use the software to update the album art for the tunes.

Make sure the images are not more than 300 X 200 pixels.

Actually, 240X240 works best w/the Walkman line. And 300X200 would look kinda' awkward, wouldn't it???

Thinking about it, 300X300 is probably the max since its a square format and maybe 240X240 is the best format.

Also, in addition to ensuring that the album art's size is 240 pixels by 240 pixels, I've found that embedding the album art in the file's ID3 tag is the most reliable way to get it to display on my player. Both MediaMonkey and MP3Tag will embed the art into the file's ID3 tag.
