Difference between X5L (20gb) and X5 (30gb)?

there are these two models avaliable here in my country:

-Cowon Iaudio X5L 20gb 35h
-Cowon Iaudio X5 30gb 14h

which are the differences? 35h, 14h? any physical change? which one is better?

30gb model its a bit more expensive (converting to dollars its like 9 dollars more expensive)

There are only two operational differences, and one physical difference between those two.

The two operational differences are obvious:
1. The hard-drive capacity difference between them which I think you can easily figure out.
2. Then the battery size is different, with the "L" model having the higher capacity batteries (the "L" uses two batteries rather than the single battery of the standard model).

Then the physical difference comes from the fact that the "L" uses a smaller piggy-back battery that sits on top of the main battery. Because of that, the "L" model is a little thicker overall on the top half of the unit.

The one I have is the X5L w/30gb drive, and I consider it to be the perfect combination of runtime and hard drive capacity.
Note that there was also a 60gb X5 made as well, but it was never available as a long runtime "L" model because there was no way to fit both the extra batter and the larger, 60gb drive into one unit at the same time.

Of the two you mention, neither one could be said to be "better" because either one will make the same music (which is great!).
You just need to decide which is more important to you; a longer runtime, or more capacity for music files.
That's not a "better" thing; it's more of a "personal preference" thing.

also beware of a X5v model which was sold in europe, its the standart X5 model but without FM radio to avoid a european ta on devices which can recive radio and TV signals,
