recommendation of speakers for the X5?

Hi,

Can anyone please recommend speakers for the X5? I am tired of having to load my stero with CDs, I'd much rather plug my X5 into a great sounding speaker unit of some sort.

The X5's line-out is kind of botched, the phones-out sounds better, in my opinion, even with speakers. Make sure to try both, but with speakers of this quality you might hear the difference - and it would be a shame if you didn't get the best sound out of them.

I bought a pair of the AE-5's, and I have to say that they are one helluva powered speaker.
I bought them mainly as computer speakers, but I've run my X5L directly into them and they sound great.

The '5's are a little more expensive, but having had them a while, I would happily buy another pair if I had to replace them for some reason.
