Na, the problem with Samsung's in the US market is that it's a demand affects supply market, as opposed to the usual model which is the other way around. The idea behind it is, as people order the P3 (demand) product carriers (like dell) only stock as many or just slightly more than what has been demanded (supply) so essentially, how many people have already demanded is what they supply. Of course the only other industry on earth that works this way is the drug trade, but that's neither here nor there. Really it comes down to the general consumer's product knowledge and lack of interest. We can safely assume in the US, the market is vastly held by Ipod, Zune, and Sandisk. Because theses brands hold so much market share, it makes the market very difficult to crack, plus most consumers aren't willing to take the time to find alternatives to the usual nore really care about any other products that are different from the usuals.
Sooo we end up with a very limited demand for these products. Hence there limited availability and limited number of carriers of these products. It's like at B&H photo, most Samsung P3's (and somebody correct me if I'm wrong) are specialty items that are ordered directly from Samsung when you order it from them. It is a sad world we live in

Yeah I know, I ordered that one, I'm supposed to have it by the 13th...*sobs* No way that's going to happen, it's been out of stock since like the 22nd of June
