battery on all samsung devices, specifically mp3 players, sucks!!!! I've had two and both had crappy battery lives. Bad battery life and HJID (Headphone Jack of Death) are chronic issues that affect all samsungs. By the way, HJID is my label and you prolly won't find it online right now. But, just do a search on this website and you'll find plenty of folks complaining about crappy battery life and how they headphone jacks suddenly went out after twelve to eighteen months of regular play.

TBH Samsung addressed the headphone jack issue.
