When I use toggle wheel, the display turns black

I just bought a Sansa Fuze 8GB, but when I try to use the toggle wheel, there's no animation. The display just turns black, and the blue light of the toggle wheel starts to lit.

When the display comes back, he took me to the place where I scrolled to. So from music in the main screen... one scroll... black display... displays comes back, I see the settings logo in the main screen.

I have no idea WHY? So I'm begging for help!

Sounds like a defective unit. My scroll wheel never causes anything like that.
Make sure you have your receipt and take it back where you got it. Or get in touch with Sansa for an RMA.
