Just got my fuze.. ITS AWESOME.

Yeah, just got a used 2gb v1 Fuze from ebay.
Even tho my sony mdr-e11 are just "better-than-average" headphones, i could really tell the difference in sound quality from my Computer integrated sound card ( P35-DS3L ) and my old cellphone ( Nokia 6120Classic).

One thing i dislike is the lack of gapless playback.. and when i change the backlight to turn off in 5seconds.. and i leave it 5 seconds IT TURNS OFF..
well, ill stick to 15seconds backlight.

Im thinkinh of buying the JVC "Air cushions" or the CX300 along with a FiiO amp.

What else do you recommend for my fuze audio setup.
Im really low in cash btw.

PS. i think i can get some shure 110's for about $40.
Are those worth it?

invest in a case if you wanna keep for any length of time. I have a hard clear poly case (there are many others to choose from) and I've had my Fuze for 2 years now and it looks like the day I bought it.

Congrats, if you wish gapless and a great eq and it's a v1 you may want to consider rockbox once release

Screen protector is essential, and cheap. A case could wait a little while, but you need a screen protector.

Nope. Most DAPs have a pretty scratch-proof screen. Your Sansa Fuze will easily withstand daily use and a few tosses here and there without any scratches. Unless you're planning to take it for trekking or jogging or something you needn't get a screen protector.

I strenuously disagree. I've seen lots of posts over the last year from people asking how to remove scratches from the Fuze's screen, more so in the Sansa forums than here. And given how cheap they are, why wouldn't you get one?

I agree with Marvin. My Fuze has a scratch down the side, even though it's in a slipcase and my mom has been using it for the past year.

In comparison, my mom has a Sony radio from 10 years ago that's still in near perfect condition

Yes protection is everything. I bought one of these http://www.bestskinsever.com/servlet...sa-Fuze/Detail and have no scratches or problems. It might be a little difficult to install but I had no problem and it looks great after a year of use. This is something I'll probably buy for every player from now on.

totally agree with no9. I have my Fuze in a hard clear poly case and it looks as good as the day I bought it 2 years ago.
