How do you add events on the calendar, and maybe set an alarm for you to remind yourself about it?

I believe the calendar is largely decoration, and this can't be done.

Actally, it can. You can add events to your calendar, but you need a program called PHP iCalendar. You can download it as freeware online. It creates a file with a .ics extension that can be added to the calendar folder. As for whether an alarm can be set, once you've got an actual appointment I'm not sure if tones or reminders can be set.

Actually there's a couple of websites too that can automatically generate .ics files.

Use this link for one that does it online.

You can also use Microsoft Outlook to create calendar events, just do a save as and pick vCalender and save to the calendar folder in my pack. No alarms can be set and in my opinion, kinda useless

No Alarm hey? Ok...I second that motion. Useless! Guess I'll stick to using my celly as my meeting and reminder book.

The ironic thing is that the P3 WILL remember and announce your birthday. So innately it can associate an event with a date.

sorry noob question again, but once downloading the program (phpicalendar2.31), where do i drag the folder to in the P3? thank you!!

I ask this because this installation page: http://phpicalendar.net/documentatio...p/Installation

tells me nothing about how I should use it on a PMP.

You put the .ics files in the calendar folder in my pack. you dont put the actual program on the p3 incase thats what you mean. I would just use the online application that mojo provided a link to also. Ive tried it, works nicely.
