Very nice finds guys... looks great. Pity I couldn't care less about DMB TV etc - but the UI looks great. Pity the album art scroll on the P3 isn't a smooth as it looks to be on the M1 - I would definitely consider a purchase after seeing these vids, but who knows if it will ever see daylight outside of Korea?

Why does Samsung insist on these ridiculously silly GUIs? Don't they think that some of their users want something that looks like an adult would use it?
Also, I recently had a hands-on with the ZuneHD and its UI was insanely smooth and fluid. I had assumed it was due to the Nvidea Tegra - but when I see the somewhat laggy M1 UI, I am thinking Microsoft has some way better programmers than Samsung. |

Both the iPod Touch and the Zune HD get that smooth UI with a dedicated graphics subprocessor. Basically a seperate chip/part of a chip that handles screen manipulation while the main processor handles media decoding and playing. The Cowon S9 and Samsung P3 use the main processor for everything, and as such don't allocate complete attention to screen smoothness or media play may suffer.

Nice and smooth... Makes me wish I would have waited for this instead of the P3...
Although player itself looks cheap... not as nice looking as the P3.

It does look nice, but the UI's responsiveness (right now) is SLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

I was seriously interested in the M1 until that last video. There is absolutely no excuse for lag on a capacitive touch screen powered by Tegra. Touch screens are all about the interface and the response, and that kills it for me.

That firmware version is 0.92 so it's just a beta build(test version AFAIK). The stable ones should be much better.
