ok, after playing around with it, I noticed that everything seems at least a little faster. changing the styles seems to have received that biggest speed boost

Ah ok.

A little snappier. Went to the music menu a bit quicker, but the submenus are just as slow to access.

Hmmm...Can somebody do a thorough test with the new update and let me know how it's fairing. I've avoided 2.18 after people seemed rather cheezed with it. But, if all goes well and people seem to be enjoying it, then I'll have to grab it.

Also, Tech, can you post a link to a thread or dl site with info on the sketchbook app? I don’t seem to have it on ma P3

It's honestly no different than the 2.18. No new features, besides more than likely support for the new SDK. Some of the menus are a bit snappier, but in all honesty, I believe this is as snappy the UI will ever get. It's more a hardware issue than a software one. If they simplified the UI, then this would not be an issue. But there's really nothing we can hope to see improved with this, unless you feel like modding your P3.

For the sketchbook, you must have the firmware 2.18/2.20, and download a UCI theme (here for example). If the theme has the Sketchbook's icon, you will be able to use the application.

The SDK is the big news here. Samsung must really be feeling heat from the Cowon S9. Has anyone who can program had a good look at it yet? I'm hoping it will allow hardware level access for apps, including screen features. That screen is multi-touch capable if I remember right.

One thing I've noticed is I had the Music Play screen set to Spectrum because when I tried Album Art most of my albums would stutter during playback with 2.18. With 2.20 and the same album art in place, I'm not getting the stuttering during playback.

This bug has existed since the firmware 2.07. To fix it, it's necessary to reinstall the firmware (or, if you can't reinstall a firmware, downgrade to the previous version and upgrade to the current firmware).

May someone upload the SDK, please? Because this page( http://emodio.kr.samsungmobile.com/f...AN&itemId=1837 ) has broken links.

It seems there are New UCI with widgets support and a new FLash Games section available now, but I can not download any of this yet. Download buttons don't work, maybe they need regristation, but registration page doesn't work either.

Gotcha. That explains why it seems "fixed" since I just loaded new firmware.
