Sometimes when I want to see a video on my Fuze, I hear it's sound for about a second, but then the screen turns totally black (not turned off!), and the player just freezes that way. No button works, therefore I need to hard reset it.
Also, 3 days ago, I noticed when trying to watch a video, a red warning appears saying that the video codec wasn't supported, and then it returned to the main menu, but after I reset it again, I watched the video, as always. I'm using the latest firmware. Is my Fuze's memory dying?

Now it isn't just videos. Last night I turned the player on to listen to a podcast.
It started with no problems, but 5 seconds later the fuze became very sluggish. Very slow sound, and menus. I had to reset it 2 or 3 times, and the problem just ended when I removed the microSD card, and put it back in again. Maybe some dust, but I have some doubts about it.

Have you tried to refirmware and format? There could be some corrupted files and that will fix it.
