Hi,
I have a problem with my player Samusng T10. I wanted delete dog on the first screen, so I used FWDN program ( http://forum.mp3store.pl/index.php?showtopic=53351 ).There I had a problem, because, when I don't selected Skip F/W write, I saw error "Write failed", so I selected Skip F/W write, and everything be ok, but when I disconnect player, my T10 don't get up yet. I used tcctool and flash firmware Firmware from 1.20 to 3.06,but it doesn't work. I see only Please Upgrade RSC file... or USB Connected. When I disconnect USB cabel and press reset hole, this screen with word disappearance. What I must doing in order my T10 work ? I don't lokok in My Computer New Disk and Windows 7 can't search new device. Last edited by crystalowy; 09-16-2009 at 08:51 AM. |

Use this method to Patch. But use these files. Samsung T10 Lafleur v.3.07 with Chaplin GUI Upgrade to the korean v 3.07 MSC fimware, http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=42612 http://down.kr.samsungmobile.com/upl...ur_Chaplin.zip But skip this section. (Get the T10 Firmware files from here http://www.emodio.com/download/DownloadList.action) Patching a T10. This is the easiest way to do it, I think Grab the tcctool-win32.zip and unzip it to a simple folder say in drive C:\ , I just use "la" only because at that time I did not know how to spell LaFleur tcctool link http://haxx.rockbox.org/utils/tcctool/tcctool-win32.zip Or say use msc a folder name if you are using that version. Use Winzip its far easier to use. http://www.winzip.com/index.htm http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm Then get hold of patch_it.bat and copy that to the same folder. patch_it.bat link http://uploaded.to/?id=49lxrp Get the T10 Firmware files from here http://www.emodio.com/download/DownloadList.action Unzip the files to the same directory as above and ALSO to the DATA directory of the T10, I had a MTP US firmware, if you are using MSC firmware copy the 2 files to the root/base of the T10, ie, the drive letter of the T10. This is what it looks like for me using the LaFleur Firmware version C:\la\tcctool-driver-win32 C:\la\patch_it.bat C:\la\readme.txt C:\la\T10V.ROM C:\la\T10V.RSC C:\la\tcctool.exe C:\la\tcctool-windows.txt Then hold the power button and press the reset button release the power button when your PC shows "new device/hardware found" Do not let windows search for the driver, you must select it manually, you should point to this location as in my case C:\la\tcctool-driver-win32 After that is done just double click on patch_it.bat, I then got a dos window and after download finished , I got a paused message and to hit any key. I think this is a lot easier than using the Run/Cmd thing. |

EDIT: I done update tcctool, but on the screen T10 is information Please upgrade RSC file... on the purple background, when I disconnect USB cabble this info still there is, but If I press reset button this information disappear. Last edited by crystalowy; 09-17-2009 at 07:36 AM. |

You Must copy the ROM/RSC Update files to the T10 as well and place the in the correct folder, plus the USB driver is not meant for Win 7 Please follow my procedure The Update to 3.07 is the best there is.. |

I used Samsung T10 Lafleur v.3.07 with Chaplin GUI, because I can't find korean v 3.07 MSC fimware ( link extinct ). On WinXP SP2 T10 either isn't detected, so I can't copy RSC file to the T10, maybe there is someway, in order to Update RSC file. Before "deteted dog" I could copy MP3, VIDEO, etc. to T10 on Win 7.

This is the Only way to Unbrick a T10 that I know off..
http://www.*********.com/tutorials/Unbrick_a_P2.pdf The P2 uses the same Chips as the T10. Plus try the Emodio software to do a firmware update.. |
