if you're serious, i've just bought an 846 (black) - it's not what i want so i can stick it on ebay in a week when i get back from Japan...

About 450 USD if you convert the Japanese 40000 Yen though I think it would go for 399 USD ... or 499 USD :'D

Though I just rebought the Walkman X for 200€ (300USD) cuz I cant wait anymore ... gonna resell for the A845

Who did say 33682 Yen = 450$ ?
40000Yen = 450 $ cuz its the price that Sony recommends selling it.
And I dont expect Sony to sell it cheaper here ... but thats just my 2 cents

I have read the post & i didn't found when the Sony A840 will be available for US or EU.
Anyone have an idea for the date or if it will be available before Noel/christmas ?
