Have a look at this, gizmodo reported the A845 will be available in europe next month

Happy about what? That Sony have released yet another 16GB player to the European market?

I'm personally peed off ... why no 32GB/64GB models for the European market yet?

I just don't understand Sony's thinking. There's pent up demand for high capacity flash players, and Sony have created what appears to be the best 64GB music focused player available, but rather than realeasing it to the market early and being a market leader they'll sit on it till other manufacturers release their own high capacity players leaving Sony to play catchup again.

In my opinion, I think Sony may release something crazy within the next few mins at CES! Maybe a crazy x series gen 2 player with more than 64 gigs! (Prolly not going to happen, but one can hope )

Is there a market for all those N/C iems..? I haven't thrown away the ones I got with my X, but I don't use them as they sound poor compared with what I've got.

I think Sony thinks everyone commutes on public transportation, and wants to enjoy their own music without hearing the public din during the trip.

I have zero interest in N/C 'phones. If I am out in the real world, I would rather be able to hear what's going on around me, so I use KSC75's and PX100's and don't crank the volume when I am out and about.

They certainly intend to launch the entire 16-64GB series. But you must understand that the 64GB will overshadow the others if you talk about it first. Sony announces the A840 series now with the smaller one, presenting its technology. This will leave room for some other headline news when the bigger capacity players will arrive later.

Happy of a not bulky player with S-Master and a normal resolution (unlike my X )

Off topic, but is that in case one screws up? I like having a 32, 24 and 16 as insurance, but I would love just one mega-device.
