Finally got a fuze, what next!?

I've finally got a fuze! So that i dont mess this up by installing the wrong stuff, what software do i need to download. firmware updater? video converter? anything else?

Firmware updater - not required. fw can be updated manually

Video Converter - only if you wish to put videos and/or pictures on your Fuze.

I use Winamp (create playlists), MP3Gain (set volume consistently), and CDex (create mp3s from CDs) with my Fuze & Clip. Others will have other choices for these.

Yes

BTW which Fuze hve you got, I have the 8GB black one, planning to put either a 4 or 8GB MSD card in it sometime.

Same here, an 8GB black!

How can i use it while charging? It just says 'connected' and shows the animated sansa logo.

Not without some fiddling around. It's explained somewhere in the forums, but I haven't tried it.

If you have an AC charger you can use your Fuze while charging.
