Default Samsung Repair Times

I sent my p3 in and samsung sent a email saying they received it. this was last week, and in the email they said i would receive it in approximately 5 business days. I checked my samsung account and they still don't have a estimated repair date on it. Also, they added this other p3 to my account with a slightly different serial number, they replaced my last digit of my serial with a letter. How long does it take for them to repair?

hmm, I always found samsung first estimate of a return date to be pretty accurate...
maybe you could call and ask?

Problem is, i never got one. Also, day after i posted that...i found they changed the status to

Your unit has been submitted for an exchange, once the exchange request is approved a Return Authorization number will be created and a label will be sent to your email if on file or mailed to your address for you to return the product free of charge. The exchange process will take days from this stage of the process.

Which now has me confused, because it says "return the product free of charge." BUT..they already have it -.-

WELCOME TO MY WORLD

i sent in my P3 (16gb) in late july and I have STILL not received it!
i posted a topic about battery issues so i sent it in.
i have called numerous times but they move slower than a snail.

i am frustrated. samsung service in my opinion absolutely sucks.
they finally sent me en email more than a week ago saying that they would finally send me one but still no word on it.

sit back, its going to take a while.

holy crap, i thought mines was bad....4 weeks. But you got it way worst, 4 months without it. I miss my p3 so badly right now, they finally sent a email after i emailed them about it saying:


Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for contacting Samsung Electronics.

I apologize for the delay. Your repair is under process.

Think their full of it? i do too! i regret getting a p3 now, after waiting since what? january?

well i finally got mine back a couple of days ago...

samsung customer service sucks
that email that you got shadowkiller24 about the delay.
i never even got that.

i would be on their ass and call their customer service number.
