Default P3 File Transfer to Phone Error...Help!
I got my new phone today which is the Samsung Trance and I tried to send files from the P3 to the phone and hasn't been working since it give me errors saying that it can't transfer. Anyone know a solution so I can transfer files?? Right now I can't transfer any...

If you have Bluetooth on and discoverable on both your phone and P3, you shouldn't have any problem exchanging files.

I tried that and found the phone and still couldn't send the file. When I send from P3 to phone it says error connection or does nothing... This is so frustrating -.-...

Possibly some phones don't allow transfer of files by Bluetooth. I know that my Nokia does.

Alright just ironic that my Samsung Phone doesn't work with the Samsung P3 lol. Well thanks for the help.

Yea, my Samsung Smooth is the same... Oh well.

HEllo. My mom has a same phone as you, and i tried the same thing but it failed. So here is my theory about p3, p3 has bluetooth 2.1, which is the newer version and most devices does not support this yet. And there is this Trance phone which has bluetooth 2.0. So you see where i am getting at? p3 is still far more advanced in terms of bluetooth that new phones won't even pair with p3 unless it has bluetooth 2.1 which i have yet to try. If i do try and still fails, then do not listen to my theory.

It could also depend on what carrier you're using. Some carriers are lame and block Bluetooth file transfers on their cell phones for the sole purpose of annoying the hell out of their customers.
