Default Albums encoded in FLAC not showing album cover

I've tagged my FLAC albums including the album cover art. They play fine on the X-Fi 2, but the album cover art does not show...only a generic picture for the album list and nothing at all while the file is playing.

Albums encoded as MP3s do show the cover art...both in the album list and while the file is playing. (I did that just to see...I don't want to encode as MP3)

Any solutions?

Thank you.
Carl

Found out album art is only supported for MP3 and WMA encoded files.

Hi Carl,

Yes, this is shame. It does clearly state it on Creative's site but sellers don't seem to include all the information. It's something I actually like about Creative - that they give loads of details about their players. Perhaps it's something that can be added by a firmware update.

Beside the missing Art Work, how does Flac sound on the player?

Mack

Y'all need to check this thread

http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=50456

Read post no.8.

That's the only way I found to put artwork on it.

FLAC sounds fantastic on this player with EP630 IEM's.

It does not support 48 KHz FLAC files though only 44 KHz.

Still it sounds great
