Default Question about disassembly of c200/c250

I followed the instructions at http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archi...sassembled.php and disassembled a partially broken c240.
However, there was no indication in the above article that the LCD could be separated from the logic board, and I wasn't able to figure out how to do so, if it is indeed possible. I could remove pieces of the LCD assembly, but they did not contain any of the electronics. I would like to be able to combine good screens from some broken c240's or 250's with good logic boards from others. Is it possible to do this without very special equipment?

No, there is no easy way to swap LCDs. The flex connector from the LCD is soldered to the board.

Yeah, I noticed that when I opened a few. I guess the only use for one with a bad LCD would be as a flash drive. The battery could be used in another c200-series Sansa, and the front panel could replace a funkier one on a good player, so it's not a total loss.
