Samsung P3 (16GB).My HP Pavilion/XP was running very slowly. So, yesterday morning, I attempted to speed it up by going to "Add/Remove Programs". Evidently, I screwed up and removed something having to do with"MADRM.dll" (whatever that is!).Next, I tried to "return" to my PC about half of the approx. 7 GB of stuff on my P3. Although the transfer appeared to be working correctly, it failed to transfer. The songs stayed on the P3 as if I had not tried to transfer them back to the WMP11 Library. I got a message about "MADRM.dll" issues and the need to fix that. I'm a computer newby. What to do? Bill (aka: xmudman)

You'll get better luck in the main forum. I'll move this there.
Though I can't help much, I would recommend reinstalling WMP.

I think it may have to do with the Emodio install.
When I google it the only real reference I find for it shows this as a path for it: %ProgramFiles%\Samsung\Samsung Media Studio 5\hdd type dll\MADRM.dll Try reinstalling Emodio and see if it fixes your issues with MTP mode and Windows Media Player. Yeah that DLL is definitely a part of Samsungs Media Studio 5. McAfee Site Advisor has all the changes that this software does and one of them is copy that DLL to the PC. http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/sam...loads/8323347/ 20050613091041937_MediaStudio5_5132.exe ADD c:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung Media Studio 5\MACSSDK.dll ADD c:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung Media Studio 5\MADRM.dll ADD c:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung Media Studio 5\MALicAcq.exe ADD c:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung Media Studio 5\MCL.dll I'm assuming you had installed Samsung's Media Studio 5 at some point. You may need to re-install it. Last edited by TomCat39; 10-24-2009 at 12:49 AM. |
