I thought Samsung abandoned the firmware support for this model but that's not exactly right, here is still a new firmware!
Download firmware 1.35 Improvements: -System stabilization -Fix the remaining recording time display bug How to upgrade firmware: Download the firmware, extract the archive, put the YP-M1.ROM file at the root of your player (the root is where all main folders are: music, video, system, pictures etc...), disconnect the player. Turn it on, it will automatically upgrade the firmware. You can check the firmware version in settings>system>about.

Does a 32 GB micro-SD card work for the M1?

Yes, it has a microSDHC slot supporting 32GB cards

Is a class 10 micro sdhc working or just class 4 or 6?

The class should not matter.
But a class 10 card won't make the transfers faster than with class 6 on the M1 as transfer rates are limited by the poor internal controller as on most mp3 players. It's only useful if you use a good external microSD reader.
