That's strange.
On the R1 the TV out works with the 3.5mm output. On my M1 that does not work and seems to require a specific Samsung USB cable according to this website...

i looked everywhere on the MB1 and i can't find the option send

i wanna send a song to my mobile phone
all i could do was connected it up to my phone and use my mb1 as a phone
but i don't know know how to send a file to another device

any idea anyone?

My YP-M1 keep rebooting after i update the firmware 1.23... Anything that i can do..

The message that show on the M1 screen is "System will Reboot in 5 Seconds to recovery"

Any solution ?

try restart the player, hold power on/off for more than 10 secs.
if still cannot, then u got the damaged player, just send it back to Samsung for RMA.

can i know where do you come from?

Does someone knows the difference between the iAmoled and Amoled technology (ie Cowon S9 vs Samsung M1) ?

And do you think the case is in plastic or aluminium? Looks better than plastic but it's not like on the P3...

I do have the same problem, on friday i received the player and installed the proposed firmware of emodio over emodio. It all worked allright until it suddently crashed today while hearing mp3's. Now I can't listen to mp3's because it will immediately reboot again (same for movies). Radio & Pictures work. Deleting files over File-Exporer => reboot.
When I try to change some settings (like reseting factory settings, formatting flash or set pc connection type to msc), it will hang during the execution of the task.

When i Browse the settings I can see that the firmware from emodio is 1.14-EU-00-1k6.

When connecting to Windows 7, i see the player (over mtp) but can't access the file system (loads foreverwithout success).
Emodio just freezes when I connect the player.

The only possibility I've got left is to format the player (over windows). But i don't know if the player is still able to boot so far that files can be transmitted. After formatting, can I still connect via USB from Windows?

All help is realyappreciated.

Yep you can format it without any danger. System files are automatically recreated

sounds good, but windows says 'could not finish formatting', so there seems to be some real problem. Sounds defenitely like warranty. bullcrap...

I believe iAmoled and Amoled are the same thing, just a different marketing approach. As far as I know (and I don't know much) the Cowon S9, Zune HD and Samsung M1 all use the same Samsung Amoled screen.

Yes I guess you're right. 'Cause I don't see real difference between my M1 and my S9's screen. Colors are a bit more natural on the S9 but it is only a question of factory display settings.

Does anyone know if using config.dat to change region to CN could M1 also play rmvb like the P3?

Also, does M1 also have any touchscreen issues or is the amoled screen better then P3's?

My P3 touchscreen is dying for the 2nd time after 1st repair within less then 6 months. With no warranty, I doubt I want to repair it out of pocket again and perhaps have it spoil the 3rd time. Or should I go Cowon S9 instead? I do have rmvb files in my collection and really would prefer not to have to spend time converting.... >_<

Plus isn't the DMB only for Korea or would it work in the UK?

The M1 is not present on the UK Samsung website (but only the T10 and P3 are on it... LOL)

But you can find the M1 on amazon.uk for instance!

So because the DMB wont work in the UK, it is unlikely to come to the UK. So i guess i will have to settle with the R1 or the P3 (lame).

The DMB version is only sold in some Asian countries but the normal version is available in Europe as I told you!
Why do you want the DMB version if you don't have DMB broadcasting in the UK?

I don't want DMB it's just that you can only buy it from Amazon for £400 and i thought it was that expensive because of the import taxes and the DMB. So if it doesn't have DMB, why does it cost so much?
