Sony S540 battery

Is it possible to replace the battery in these players, or do you need (like ipod) to pay Sony to do it for you? I know with ipods, you can buy replacements on Ebay (Apple does NOT condone or sanction this), and replace them yourself if you are talented. Does anyone know how or if this is possible for the S- series?

I have no idea.....but the player was just released a couple months ago, so by the time the battery is shot, you would most likely want a newer, better player anyways.
