Default How to Start Over with an E200

I originally used the e200 on a PC with windows media converter. Now I've switched to a Mac.

Drag and drop from iTunes works fine for individual files. But the fuiling system is a mess.

The folders and files I see when I open the device on the computer are not the same as what I see on the device itself. So it's impossible to manager and organize files properly.

It also means I'm stuck with a bunch of old useless podcasts that can't be deleted because they don't appear when I open the thing on the desktop.

Also, the e200 still carries a bunch of music that must have been preinstalled. It's music I don't want, but I can't figure out how to delete it. (it doesn't show up when I open the device on my desktop).

So finding the new stuff I want to hear is like finding a needle in a haystack.

I figure the best thing to do is just delete everything form the device and start over with an empty player that i can drag and drop new files to.

Any suggestions on how I can do that? Or how to overcome this confusion in the folders and files, and why nothing looks the same on the desktop as it does on the device?

Reformat on a PC, disconnect and allow it to rebuild the db.
