Default Skinning the Sony Walkman NWZ-S544

Hi folks,

I was wondering if it was possible to set the background image or even fully skin the Sony Walkman NWZ S544, I can't seem to find any information about it and simply browsing the .xml files on the player yields nothing useful. Cheers!

I don't think you can do this with sony walkmans. If you really wanted 'skinning' your player, should have bought a player with UCI capabilties

Skinning isn't possible on any of the Walkmans that I know of. A few models have the option of choosing from preset color themes. The S544/S545 can't do either. Sony players aren't very customizable.

Hey Matt...true, this is something I sadly discovered after the fact. Not a huge issue for me, but I am really surprised at this [and all those other glaring faults in an otherwise superb E345].

Surprised because my 3 year old Creative Labs Zen Micro 8GB could handle user-defined jpeg wallpapers.

SONY! Take note!

cheers and happy holidays,
