Application/Game Ideas

Hello,

New to the X-Fi2, but LOVE THIS SITE! In fact, I don't even have them yet (ordered them for my daughters 2 days ago). This is exactly what I was looking for. A way to play games on an MP3 player other than an iPod. These games are awesome!

While trying TicTacToe, I came across a slight bug in the checking logic (was also checking blank cells, and considering 3 blanks in a row a "win"). While there, I centered text and buttons, etc., mostly just playing with lua for the first time. Anyway, not sure where to put it. The last post in that thread was fairly old.

I'm not sure LordXenos is updating the list anymore, and I don't have time to look after it myself right now. But keep posting ideas, we read about them and the ones worth remembering we remember.

think: monopoly has so many variables, community chest, and what not, monopoly is possible but it is very time demmanding something that i dont have right now, as is i can barly work on my clone of http://www.miniclip.com/games/final-fortress/en/

It's got a strict set of rules and it doesn't require a lot of controls, so in that sense it is "easy". The problem is the crapload of work necessary to implement everything in it. All houses and cards and stuff. So it isn't as easy as it may seem.

Monopoly would sure be easy to concept out, but as Habhome said, there are too many rules, cards, events and stuff.
But I could imagine some kind of "Monopoly light", which doesn't require too many time to play, with less event cards and streets, hm?

Would it be possible for anyone to make a clone for angry birds?
and maybe even a guitar hero clone (i know someone has already made one and its pretty cool, but theres no sound and song choice, etc)

btw, ive got no clue about programming or lua, so i cant do anything to help o.O

and a huge thankyou to everyone who has dedicated so much time to making these apps for the x-fi2 (you know who you are), coz the games are really awesome

It is far from too advance, for sure i know i could put something like this together, thought right now i am in a middle of a 3rd person shooter(making one)

Hey everyone,

i was just wondering whether it would be possible for anyone to make any of the following games for the zen x-fi2:

Angry Birds
Tap Tap
Stick Cricket
any racing game thats like Fast and Furious (a game for the ipod touch)

ive got absolutely no programming/lua skills at all, so ill be no help -_-

i know most of the main programmers on this site are busy with other projects, but it would be appreciated if you can consider making one of these games

Angry birds: probably not, unless someone come sup with a physics enginbe that can run on the zen then its not possible

Tap Tap: if you mean the guitar game then probably and i think someone has already started making it

Stick cricket i dont really know what that is but if its like cricket then it probaly is possible

Fast and furious: Cant make a 3d engine so no 3d racing game but i think somone is already making a racing game (not sure where it is)

its a pretty simple game, but i wouldnt know if its simple to program :P

I've seen people ask for GBA emulators and such, but I'd be happy with a simple NES or gameboy one. If anything, i just want to be able to play pokemon red. I'm sure this is probably too much work for someone, but I have no programing knowledge and would love it immensely.

A NES emulator??????????. NES emulators require so much more power then a gamboycolor. THe main problem is being able to read from rom files, seeing that no one here has experience with making emulators, just about any type of emulator would be neer impossible
