Viliv p3 at ces

looks nice, 3.7 inch amoled screen.
Running android and has cortex a8 at 800mhz so we'll be able to watch hd on that tiny screen.

Can also duel boot into win ce, but i'm not sure why anyone would do that.
Plus it has a microsd slot for expandable storage, which is very good.

Just couple of things, wonder how the sound quality is, being an s9 user i've grown accustomed to great audio quality.
guess this is going to compete with the itouch, archos a5, just wish the screen had been a little bigger. 3.7 is better than 3.5 but i would have preffered 4.13 inch screen like the nokia n810 that i've grown accustom to.

one final wish, if viliv would change the default android ui it be much better, maybe they can have uci's like samsung and cowon. besides that it just made my short list as possible upgrades to my s9.

Of course it just depends on pricing and how viliv handles media playback.

It's definitely appealing (even for someone who isn't that keen on large touch screen PMPs). I've been wanting to play with android so I'm looking forward to this.

I think so, the rest of there products have been mid's/umpc.

If they sound quality is good I might give this a chance.

They could have a chance at making a killing if they kept the price low and made/found a good media app for android...

Viliv isn't new to the PMP game at all. They released the P1 around the time of Cowon's A2 (2005?), and a P2 after that, among other players. However they were pretty much unavailable outside of Korea.
