I recently had a blond moment and plugged in the wrong charger into the headphone socket. Their was a smell of burning.

everything works fine on the sony walkman nwza818 except the face i am not recieving any doud through the headphones.

Is this repairable? please help

You would have to open it and check what fried, if it’s only one of the jack connections and you know how to solder, it might be possible. If it’s any major parts or the board, it’s probably impossible for you to source the parts and you would have to send to sony repair.
