Battery Life

I have and NWZ A 826 and a recently purchased S 545 I wonder how much listening and video time other people are getting as I am lucky to get more than 6 hours listening or 3 hours video. Are these things consuming lots of power when off as I believe they actually go to standby for 24 hours before shutting down alltogether.

I can get a little over 30 hrs of audio on my S545. I don't watch much vids on my player, but I think I can get like 6hrs.

Standby is 4 hours. I never watch video, and I keep my brightness down at the minimum, but the battery seems to run for a very long time. I do think using a custom EQ uses a little more battery than a flat setting, however. But I really couldn't say just how long mine runs, I've never timed it.

I can say I've run it at volume 27/30, dynamic normalizer on, flat EQ, for 7.5 hours and only used an indicated 25% of the battery.
