[YP-U5] No autoplay when starting up / Shorter display lightup time

Hello,
I'm a proud owner of a YP-U5 and have two question/wishes.

Is it possible to stop the player to automatically play a (random) mp3 when it boots up? I find it quiet annoying that it plays something. I wish it would rather start in the main menu.


Can I change the display light-up time lower then 15 seconds? I would like to set it to 5 sec. Or does Samsung need to add that to the Firmware (if so are they open for such feature requests?).

update newest firmware v1.52

I think if you press the pause button before power off the player, it will not autoplay when you power on.

I will try that. But most of the time I'm listening at night and I'm asleep so it will automatically switch off. Still it would start at the 'song screen' and not the 'main menu' screen.
