Hello everyone,
I just got the YP-U5 and I really like it. However, I have had problems with finding the option "shuffle all". Basically, what I want is, that the player takes all the individual mp3 files that are stored in different folders and plays a file randomly. Is that possible and if so how? My older player could do that. For example I had 5 folders with 10 songs in each folder. I could use the mode shuffle all and the player would create a list of 50 songs from the folders and play a song randomly. I hope that I could get across what I mean. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Bye, beanie |

I don't have a U5 and don't know of anyone on this forum that does... If it's like other Samsungs, though, you should be able to go into Songs and it will play/shuffle all ie every song you have on there.

Hi,
thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I cannot find that option. I looked everywhere. Going into the Menu "Music" I get the options: Now Playing, Artist, Albums, Songs, Genres, Playlists, Recorded Files and Music Browser. I tried with Music Browser and it lists all files, I guess. But there is no option like "shuffle all". Can anybode help me? Thanks in advance! Or could you point me to a forum that deals with issues of the U-Series and especially the YP-U5? Any suggestion would be great. Thank you! Last edited by beanie1; 03-02-2010 at 01:25 PM. |

Yes you can.
Go to Settings -> Music -> Play Mode and select Shuffle. Then: Music -> Now Playing If you want to shuffle by author, genre or album select the appropriate menu voice. To return to normal play mode: Settings -> Music -> Play Mode and select Normal Simple. Isn't it ?
