Simon - Cilmaviel
Pong - Bzdbbb
Paint - Cilmaviel
Sudoku - Creative
Calculator - Creative
Tic Tac Toe - ZaPx64
Boink - Bzdbbb
Mastermind - Bzdbbb
MicroSD - Creative

The last application is the one that strikes me as odd...

It's the icon for PushBox An upcoming app for the X-Fi2 currently being developed by Creative.

No, no the one that says "MicroSD". I'm not sure if it's an app for the microsd or the actual microsd itself.

It is the icon for the MicroSD itself, not as an application.
And I might add that I had some fingers in Paint =P Though considering the icon they seem to have taken it from before I made any changes to it. So it should be credited to Cilmaviel I believe ^^

well it would seem if creative is gonna make a dick move like this they should atleast be more helpful in our questions and demands on unlocking some function of lua in the xfi_2.

I mean this is a wonderful community that is donating much of their time to just program for the xfi_2, they could atleast help us out a bit :-/

By details, what exactly do you mean? What details are they after?

while you have their ear... ask about when the next firmware update will be released...

assuming of course that there will be another firmware upgrade...

2 and sometime 3 firmware updates has typically been the limit for past zen players.

Don't rush Creative Dave, I'm sure they'll release another firmware update in good time... Also, let's keep it on-topic shall we?

Maybe those apps will be included in the new firmware That would be awesome for the makers. If they ask them first this time haha.

It's good to know that they have responded to the article. This tells me that they do care. Thanks again EnzoTen!

Dave, @habhome started a developers wish list to let Xfi2 devs to express their concerns. I have directed Creative to watch this thread- so please express your developer concerns in that thread.

If you want to start and maintain a list like that for general features i will direct Creative to that one too. But please keep it maintained and neat.

There is already such a list started by Spewk, I don't know how often he manages it or so, but it's there anyway.

Good news all... Creative stepped up and made good on this by sending the devs some nice stuff...

Quote:
Update 4/14/2010: Creative contacted me on their own accord shortly after this article was posted to get a list of the developers they offended. As a token of their appreciation Creative sent these devs some Auravana In-Ear2 headphones and a wireless bluetooth speaker system- the Inspire S2. So a speacial thanks to Creative from ABI and the developers for making good on this issue!

That's neat! Glad they made up for it in some way, though I didn't expect them to do this much. This should definitely make up for what they did without a doubt, at least it would if I had been one to receive it.

Thanks for standing up for us Enzo!

So, if I make a game, Creative see that game and they want to use the game, I get also an Auravana In-Ear2 and an Inspire S2?

No. They sent out this to some developers to make up for using their applications in their advertisement earlier without acknowledging their work. From now on they'll probably make contact before is my guess.
