Angry Protection agaibst dieing Touchscreen??
hi

i have a question:
Does the touchscreen of the P3 dies??
because my one doesnīt react on the right upper corner; with OS 2.07 i canīt touch the icon which is in this corner, with OS 2.18 i can but very hardly.
I know, that there are many other threads about this topic, but i want to know if you can protect the PMP against this because if the P3 donīt react anymore in maybe one year it would be very bad and i can throw the P3 in the bin......???

Please help me, i donīt know what to do yet because itīs anoying that the touchscreen doesnīt react......

Re-flash the firmware and see if it helps. Also, the FW is up to 2.20.

Yes iknow , but the OS 2.20 takes too much more energy tham the OS 2.18 iīve heard....
And what do you mean with "Re-Flash" exactly....????

I have no "energy" issues, so I'd suggest upgrading ASAP. And re-flash means reinstall the firmware.

OK i have now installed the firmware 2.18 an it worked fine

hi iīm back again and i must say that th touchcreen is now died heaviely on the right upper quarter i have tested it eith the scatch book and tried to paint the page...
The screen reacts fine but NOT in this area...
should i send the P3 back to samsung or could it help to put a screen protector on the screen so i could not rub the rest of the sensor film form the screen and the p3 never reacts.....

Please help me...a p3 without a working touchscreen is as a tv without a screen.... ;D

Return it to Samsung and get it repaired, as there's really no way to repair a wonky screen.
