Sony NWZ-B133F do not power on

when i press 'play' button to power on the player dim "walkman" logo flashes on screen and vanishes.It is not getting on.However when i connect it to my pc the screen displays it fine "connected USB" and it gets charged properly.

I even updated firmware from ver 1.0 to ver 1.01 but still it's not getting on.
I formatted it using windows explorer and think it might have erased its booting files in its flash memory..........i also used usb charger to charge it directly from household supply rather than pc,has that caused any problems ??
What can i do to make my player work fine as before...
