Changes found by abi users:
-The accelerometer functions have been changed to the ones that are shown in the api. Applications using the accelerometer that were programmed in firmware 1.11.01 cease to function properly. (cilmaviel)
-When the player does an idle shutdown while in an application, in firmware 1.11.01 it would freeze the player. This has been fixed for most applications. (Diddykong13)
-Video previews are larger. (ZaPx64)
-Previously the player was limited to playing videos below 600-700mb. This limit has been increased and tested up to 1.4gb with no problems. (revol)
-Touch screen is more responsive.
-The game PushBox contains an error. Level 12 is impassable due to an extra pushable box being blocked off. (Chee Keong)

The PushBox game is kinda fun. I got a chance to play around with that. I don't have time now to go through all of it, but if people want to post any detailed fixes they find, I'll add them to the first post.

I dunno, but before I checked it out and to me it seemed worse than before...
It doesn't include all the info from your contact in Windows Contacts... On address for example it only says "Prague Czech Republic" for one of mine. That doesn't really help me if I'm going to write a letter or something, now does it

EDIT: Reloaded my contacts and now it's better, shows the full address at least. It still doesn't show my full "note" though...

Uhm, my X-Fi 2 already has a calculator app. Nice that Creative is still working on the 2 though.

The one you already have is the one which was hacked out from the code of one of Creative's earlier firmwares, so it's the same app.

Enzo have directed Creative to watch the list I made with our wishes for the LUA, so who knows. If you notice anything they have fixed, please post it in that thread so I can update the list and thank Creative for their cooperation.

Has anyone else noticed any of the apps not now working on the new firmware?

So far Monkeyball and Gunz dont seem to work on my Zen. Ive tried reinstalling them onto the Zen but it hasnt worked. Both load up, Monkeyball then just exits automatically, Gunz just freezes. Will try it again and see.

Will also update any other apps that I find no longer work.

Confirmed. I found two unfunctional applications that use the accelerometer; MonkeyBall and a game similar to MonkeyBall I was developing.
Additionally I think the accelerometer is behaving different now but I cannot explain how.
Finally I noticed the video previews being bigger than before.

Indeed- ZenLock also doesnt work. I did find that Mastermind froze, but I reinstalled it and it now works fine. Was therefore probably just a one off.

Its hard to work out whether Gunz is affected by this as it had so many bugs in it anyway.

Aah, that's what the contact details are about. I don't use it, but it's nice to know that it works better now if I want to use it some day.

What happened to the accelerometer?? Even the little accelero test app isn't working anymore.. it just crashed my player.

After updating mine, it prompted me to re-calibrate the screen. If yours didn't do that you may want to do it youself from the settings menu.

I was also prompted to re-calibrate my touchscreen when I started it up. Then again a second time after I had turned it off and on. Although it hasn't done it to me since then. I have yet to test any of the applications on it to see if they still work.
