Won't connect to Rhapsody or Windows or Media Monkey

Can not get my new device to work with Rhapsody, Media Monkey, or Windows Media for Vista.

Does work with Ziepod (for RSS only) & their own Creative Centrale (for ripping my own CDs).

Talked with Rhapsody they gave me already known advice.

Last 3 years I had an Iriver Clix Gen1. It was great, but I've broken the screen badly and decided it was time for a new mp3.

Any help is appreciated.
