I've been trying to download the rental HD version of "Star Trek" via the Zune Marketplace, and besides being incredibly slow (I'm only at 16% after 5 hours), the process seems to be tying up bandwidth while I'm trying to download. When not downloading, I have between 1.5 and 2 Mb speed (Time Warner Cable Roadrunner), but while I'm downloading, it drops down to 56k! Any explanations?

I assume you're downloading on your computer. Sounds like you should try another computer, another ethernet line, or try downloading wirelessly from the zune itself. otherwise can't help

Unfortunately, movies can't be downloaded from the Marketplace wirelessly to the Zune HD (yet--maybe in a future update?). I really think my problem is related to the 4.5 update--when I was at 4.3, I had no problem downloading movies to my computer to transfer to my Zune HD.

There is a thread about this over at zune.net. A mod said they're looking into it... The problem is, this could be an issue with one of their servers, or your ISP, or some intermediate hop between you and the source. Assuming your ISP is OK, it may be out of both your and MS control...
